NEW IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
FOR THE
2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR.

Parents,
Immunizations are very important to prevent your child from acquiring a disease, so please keep you children current at all times. After a child is sick with a disease is not the time to think about the need to protect them. This will be new immunization requirements for the 2009 - 2010 school year.
The kindergarten students will need to have two (2) doses of Varicella (Chicken pox) and two(2) doses of Hepatitis A to be in school. This is the new part. They still need the five(5) DTaP/DPT, four (4) polio, two (2) MMR, and three (3) Hepatitis B immunizations (also pneumococcal and HIB as a small child).

Pre-K student will have to have the same basic immunizations as the kindergarten students.
